
On 16 July 2024, leadership members from the Union of Women Engineers (MiGiGOB), including the Chairperson Engr. Ikram Abubakar Mohamed, attended a special graduation ceremony held for young women who completed various professional skills programs at the Gaari Dumar Center.
The event highlighted the achievements of the trainees, celebrating their commitment, resilience, and determination in mastering new technical and vocational competencies. During the ceremony, a speaker pictured above addressed the audience with confidence, reflecting the inspiring energy and ambition of the graduating class.
MiGiGOB’s participation reaffirmed its ongoing mission to support, motivate, and raise awareness within the community, with a particular focus on empowering women pursuing technical careers. The Union remains dedicated to creating opportunities, advocating for inclusion, and strengthening the role of women within the engineering and technical sectors across the country.
